WVSU Diabetes Cooking School

Diabetes is a chronic health condition that affected 10.4% of West Virginians in 2005. Those afflicted with this disease must consistently focus on controlling blood sugar levels and preventing complications. The WVSU Diabetes Cooking School teaches meal planning and food preparation skills that reduce calories, control carbohydrates, modify fats and increase fiber of familiar food recipes.
